The British BM had a 3pt linkage arrangement driven from the standard lift-all belly pump using a cylinder on each side of the transmission. The later Super BM had an engine mounted pump (on the distributor drive) With a hydraulic drawbar with and external hydraulic cylinder to which the 3pt was arranged.

Some one decided they wanted to go back to fast hitch and butchered it up making it into what you see now. Makes the hitch look almost factory. On my M I"m doing what I did on my 856 with the Fasthitch.....making a adapter so it can do both. So it will be complete with all Fasthitch parts rather than the 3 point arms I have now..that solves the sway control issue and gives you the best of both worlds. Our son built our 3 point on the M. salvaged a 6 spool valve bank from work. and went from there. power up,down ,tilt,top member and remote. still have 2 spools not being used. he locked the pump controll in the up position. Listing I found cat 1 32-5/8" cat 2 35-7/8". It's possible. I didn't know the length mattered by category. Did some more research and what I think matters most is distance from the end of the pto shaft to the center of the outer ball.
