And depending on how much DEF you have in the tank at that moment, the crystal might dissolve and clear the code. Those were cleared. #2 NOx sensor replaced and on the DIC portion it shows def fluid quality poor and shows speed restriced to 55mph.Tech. About 2 weeks ago we were traveling to Savannah with 5th wheel in tow and the "service Def System" message appeared. Truck has 8600 miles. Once the message disappeared and display went back to the vehicle info I scrolled down to the messages and it was gone. Hmmm cool it cleared its self. 2 days later it came back followed by the CEL.
