The FCR is a carb built to be fast and reliable, for all kinds of bike, but you have to re-jet. This has been made fairly easy on the FCR, so with some practice it should be an easy job. The DRZ E came with this carb, so the engine does well with it. And as said above, the knowledge on the FCR on this forum is immense.

I bought it used and put a 4-2m metering rod in it which was recommended. I have spent alot of time tuning the carb to get rid of a bad midrange bog. Right now it runs great in the low end. Crisp and responsive off the bottom with consistent idle. It also runs good up top.
